Colman McCabe.
Colman graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University in 1988
with an LL.B. He qualified as a solicitor in 1993 with Ashurst
Morris
Crisp, a London-based international law firm, specialising in corporate
and commercial law. Upon returning to Ireland, Colman worked in
the legal department of AIB Bank from 1995. The work involved enforcement
of security, commercial property and regulatory issues. In 1998,
he joined GE Capital Woodchester specialising in commercial law
including asset financing, M&A work, E-commerce and real property.
After
a brief stint in 2000 with a start-up Irish company as Senior
Counsel and Company Secretary, Colman returned to GE Capital
Woodchester
as a consultant at the start of 2001. Subsequently, Colman worked
as a consultant for Hewlett-Packard, involved in negotiating
various
financial instruments at a pan-European level and, having founded
Lincoln Solicitors, continues to advise Hewlett-Packard.
